Mission
Our goal is to supply rice to a minimum of 1,050 elderly individuals in Vietnam who have low or no income.
"Each month, we provide one 10 kg bag of rice to every elderly person."
Teresa Family Charity is dedicated to providing monthly allocations of 20-lb bags of rice (approximately 10 kilograms) per person to support a minimum of 1,050 elderly individuals in Vietnam. Our purpose is to alleviate the hardships caused by physical ailments and the emotional suffering resulting from the loneliness of old age. We serve people without regard to their religious preferences or affiliations. In addition to rice provision, we regularly conduct home visits to the elderly, offering companionship, lending an ear to their life stories, and providing assistance with feeding and bathing for those unable to care for themselves. We are grateful for the generous support we receive from donors, particularly those who still have elderly parents residing in countries like Vietnam, as they recognize the value of human life from birth to the final moments. To raise funds, we organize entertaining musical evenings for donors, advertise our mission on radio and television to reach potential contributors, and actively maintain the Teresa Family Charity website and Facebook page to continuously raise awareness about the critical needs of elderly individuals in Vietnam.
